The Cedars rehabilitation centre in KZN, located in the rolling hills and scenic farmlands of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands provides the ideal setting for immersion in a programme of recovery. Far from the noise and distraction of city life, gorgeous gardens and breathtaking views surround this stately and fully modernised “home away from home”.

This historic building has experienced many upgrades since its creation over a century ago and was most recently a well-established hotel and country retreat. The estate has been refurbished to accommodate up to 40 patients in a welcoming, comfortable and nurturing environment. Original fireplaces warm the house in the chillier months, and refreshing walks outdoors offer the possibility of serendipitous encounters with local wildlife, including fascinating birdlife.
